New World wines are great, don't get us wrong. They tend to be punchy, full-bodied and have a high alcohol content. But 1 is a mediterranean restaurant, and the Mediterranean is at the heart of wine history. Centuries of cultivation have produced wines that perfectly match the food grown and eaten around the Med - why would you drink something that didn't.

Our wines include easy-quaffing Spanish reds, lightly floral Italian whites as well as classic French wines.

For those that prefer their drinks to sparkle with fizz, we have Prosecco & Champagne, lagers and soft drinks.
